It does, however, get a lot of its character from its history as a former metal shop, furniture storage warehouse, and several other iterations. While it’s actually a relatively new event venue, it’s been making quite the impact on the wedding scene in the years since its opening. Its flexible spaces offer both indoor and outdoor options for events that will continue to surprise and delight, a perfect balance of historic charm and sophisticated trendiness.
Details of the Grounds
When WithinSodo was reimagined as a venue, its creators set out to reimagine the space to be as flexible as possible. Today, it can accommodate a grand total of 625, with 450 people downstairs and another 175 upstairs.
There are a variety of ways that you can utilize the spaces of WithinSodo to accommodate your guest list and your wedding vision. There are four indoor rooms: The Lobby, The Gallery, the Lounge, and The Ballroom. All of them offer unique architectural touches like exposed brick and stone, wooden beams, and exposed industrial ducts. Consistent in each space is the creative use of lighting, with fixtures that set a contemporary tone and create a trendy loft mood. You can rent the spaces altogether or pair them a la carte, depending on your needs. With so many flexible indoor spaces, you don’t have to worry about good ol’ Seattle rain impeding on your wedding day!

There are so many beautiful spaces to use for wedding photos at WithinSodo. From the beautiful interior walls of exposed stone to the vintage-inspired decor, gorgeous backdrops are practically everywhere you look. Wedding Details
When you host your wedding at WithinSodo, you’ll have access to an in-house day-of coordinator who will help make sure your wedding day goes according to plan. She’ll assist you with details throughout the planning process, and when the big day arrives, she’ll be working alongside the other vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Speaking of vendors, the only vendor that WithinSodo requires you to use is their own bartending service, which also provides all alcohol. Other than that, as long as your caterer, DJ, and other vendors are all properly licensed and insured, the rest is up to you! If you need recommendations, they have a list of their favorite, most trusted vendors that they are happy to recommend.
