JM Cellars is a family-owned winery and wedding venue that has been making handcrafted, limited-release wines since 1998. They source their grapes from a variety of premium vineyards in Washington, creating wines that showcase the region in which they were grown. JM Cellars shares its wines with guests at their two tasting rooms in Woodinville and Snohomish.
In Woodinville, their Tasting Room sits on part of an old dairy farm known as Bramble Bump. In the 1960s, the property was gifted to family members who happened to be avid horticulturists. They planted 120 Japanese maples and 400 rare conifers on the property, including a Chilean Fire Tree, a Himalayan Zebra Pine, and what is today one of the largest cherry trees in the country. When the owners of JM Cellars purchased Bramble Bump in 2000, they continued to care for the exceptional gardens organically, protecting the incredible haven that still draws in guests from around the world today.

First, begin your wedding day by getting ready in the stunning JM loft, a private home with plenty of gorgeous space that is perfect for hair and makeup or relaxing before the celebration begins. There is plenty of room for you, your partner, and your wedding parties, and fabulous light and decor for getting ready photos.
Many couples choose to host their ceremony on the side lawn of the winery, complete with a wall of hydrangeas and a stunning timber arbor. The space is a quiet clearing surrounded by towering pines and other lush trees. Decorate the space with your unique florals and color palette for a signature look, but it doesn’t take much to make this lawn look absolutely magical.
JM Cellars Cocktail And Wedding Receptions
Your JM Cellars cocktail hour and wedding reception can be held in a number of spaces throughout the winery. A large, spacious patio off the back of the tasting room is ideal for outdoor celebrations. Dine and dance al fresco, or put up a tent for a little extra security. I highly recommend a transparent tent. So you can still incorporate the beautiful surroundings and the romantic night sky! Nearby fire pits are perfect for gathering as night falls, keeping warm, and maybe even roasting a marshmallow or two.
Indoors, the tasting room has a variety of smaller, more intimate spaces that are perfect for a cocktail hour or intimate dinner party. Details, like stacked wooden barrels, wine bottles, and other wine-inspired decor, add a rustic flair to the industrial spaces. A dramatic indoor fireplace that adds an extra special cozy touch.
Photography Opportunities
The grounds at JM Cellars are absolutely perfect for outstanding wedding photos. We can wander the property, taking photos amidst the towering trees and wildflowers. We will create images that are romantic and full of natural beauty. The gardens are spectacular backdrops, too, full of rich hues of green and colorful flowers. Inside, we can incorporate wine-related props like barrels and bottles for a characteristic touch.
Wedding Details
JM Cellars wedding packages include a lot of great perks, including full use of the venue, arboretum, and loft. Your dinner, ceremony, and reception furniture are all included, as are rustic decor details like faux linen runners and candles. You’ll have access to the space for a rehearsal the morning prior to your event in addition to valet service for your guests.
You will, however, need to plan to hire a wedding planner to make sure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day. A JM Venue Manager will also be onsite to ensure everything is going well on their part. Their list of preferred caterers has been hand-selected to ensure the best quality food and service. Then, when paired with JM wines, you can’t go wrong!
