The world has streamlined the birthing experience over the past several decades. Come in for regular appointments, get induced when it’s time, and use interventions if birth isn’t progressing as quickly as your provider hopes. While, yes, this method works for some people, it can be frustrating to feel like you don’t get a say in your own delivery. That is why midwives are downright magical. Because they can limit how many clients they take on at one time, they can spend more time with you during each appointment so you can get advice regarding any potential concerns. Plus, midwives are fierce advocates! They will work with you so you can have the birth experience of your dreams. If you’ve been looking for a provider who will listen to you, I’d love to tell you about the best Olympia midwives

Around the Circle Midwifery is an Olympia practice that features both Licensed Midwives and Certified Nurse Midwives. They specialize in more holistic birth options, including home birth and birth center deliveries. The practice shares a building with The Birth House, a freestanding birth center. They will give you consistent care until after your baby is born. You can also come to them for any well-woman visits outside of pregnancy. Hate to be a negative person. I would not recommend Rachael Cook. She neglected our family. I gave birth alone in my bedroom petrified. Then transferred to the hospital because she was at another birth. The hospital tried to get a strike against her license for negligence and creating an unsafe environment for our family. After the baby was born, she told us to get aftercare/postpartum support from our pediatrician. Everything was so messy. She didn’t refund us for the broth fee and couldn’t see us after the baby was born. I had to transfer to a new midwifery. It was awful. I’m still coping with the grief a year later. It was my 3rd baby and my 2nd time working with her.

    • Thank you for your comment, I base these articles off of personal references and google reviews. I was unable to find negative reviews for Rachael so I’d encourage you to leave one. I will leave your comment up for others to see and consider it when I update this article in the future.
